Afifa studied Marine Science at Diponegoro University and was part of the university’s Marine Diving Club.
After completing her undergraduate studies, she received a coral restoration scholarship called Coral Catch in Gili Air, Lombok.
By joining the Anambas Foundation, she hopes to improve marine ecosystems through research, increasing community participation, and involving women in science and conservation.
